Yapa Mahinda Bandara is an Associate Professor and Programme Director for the MBA Business Leadership & Practice at Edinburgh Napier University, UK. He teaches and supervises students in supply chain and logistics, operations management, management research, and business practice projects at both undergraduate, MBA, MSc and doctoral students.
Mahinda graduated from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, with specialisation in Economics and Statistics, and holds a PhD from the National Center for Ports and Shipping, Australian Maritime College, University of Tasmania. He is a Senior Fellow of Advace HE, UK, and also a Fellow (FCILT) and formerly served as the Vice President, Education (2021) of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) Sri Lanka.
